As vice president and general manager of AMR Research’s Industry Value Chain Strategies Service, Roddy is responsible for managing the company’s value chain analysis and research across all industries. Roddy researches a variety of topics including systems support to operations, IT, and manufacturing strategy. Roddy was a key contributor in the development of AMR Research’s demand-driven supply chain model. His research brings together the strategic, business, and organizational issues faced when implementing IT and enterprise architectures, processes, and applications across the value chain.
Mike Shumpert, Senior Director, Global Strategic Business Solutions for Software AG
Mr. Shumpert leads the development of value assessment tools for capturing and proving quantifiable ROI for Software AG customers. His responsibilities also include solution design and packaging repeatable solutions into best practice modules to speed customer implementations. He also has served in numerous management roles at Software AG, including product management and marketing. He has 25 years of global product management experience in business-to-business industries, including 10 years at Dun & Bradstreet as VP of global product management and 10 years of industry experience in aerospace for the Department of Defense. Mr. Shumpert holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Georgetown University and a Bachelors of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia (via the US Naval Academy).
