Bruce Silver, Principal, Bruce Silver AssociatesDr Silver is an independent industry analyst and consultant specializing in BPMS and content management technology. He is the author of the 2006 BPMS Report available on the BPM Institute website and other reports available at www.brsilver.com/wordpress. In addition, he writes the monthly BPMS Watch column on bpminstitute.org and the Change Agent column for Intelligent Enterprise magazine. He was formerly vice president and service director at BIS Strategic Decisions, which became Giga Information Group in 1995.
Peter Carlson, VP, Product Development, webMethodsPeter Carlson is Vice President of Product Development at webMethods. His responsibilities include Business Process Management and Composite Application Framework products. He is responsible for driving technology strategy and market positioning as well as coordinating all the related product development deliverables.
Mr. Carlson has over fourteen years of technical management and software development experience. Prior to webMethods, he led Engineering activities for Netegrity’s Provisioning and Identity Management Suite of products. Prior to Netegrity, he was Vice President of Engineering for Datachannel, Inc. which was an Enterprise Portal company. In addition to his technical management and strategic duties, he served on many standards bodies and helped implement those server side java technologies within many product lines. He was also a Systems Architect and Computer Scientist at Adobe Systems and Frame Technologies where he was involved with strategic internal portal initiatives as well as pioneering web access to complex and structured Document Management Systems.
