A pioneer in Business Rules, Barb received the Outstanding Individual Achievement Award from the International Data Management Association. As a journalist, she wrote for Database Programming and Design Magazine and co-authored several books. Her most recent book, Business Rules Applied (co-authored with a KPI business rule team) was an unexpected finalist for the Software Development Jolt Award.
Henry Bowers, Director, Business Rules Product Marketing, ILOG
Henry Bowers is the Product Marketing Director for BRMS at ILOG, where he oversees all product marketing aspects of ILOG’s business rule management systems product line. Bowers has spent over nineteen years in the software industry, working in both the public and private sectors. He specializes in developing and marketing advanced automation technologies.
Bowers is the author of several published technical and management papers and has spoken at many conferences. Bowers holds a BSE from Princeton University, an MS in Computer Engineering from George Mason University, and an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix.
